Governor Umaru Bago has launched a comprehensive state-wide tour to inspect and assess ongoing projects across Niger State, ensuring they align with his administration’s vision of development and progress. This week-long tour focuses on projects in Zone C, covering eight local government areas, as well as parts of Zone A.
The tour began in Zungeru, Wushishi Local Government, where the Governor inspected a 5km road project, part of a larger 556km road construction initiative across the state. While commending the quality of work, he directed contractors to include drainage systems on both sides of the road to enhance durability. He also visited the Niger State/World Bank-supported Nigeria for Women groundnut processing mill in Unguwan Madaki, expressing satisfaction with the progress and pledging additional funds for environmental interlocking.
